Since 1979 when concerned residents formed the Fineview Citizens Council, the Council has remained true to its founding vision to develop affordable and desirable housing and to improve the quality of life for Fineview residents.

All council members are neighborhood volunteers, who are elected to serve two-year terms. In addition to working with public and private partners on housing and business development in Fineview, the FCC also holds quarterly community meetings to address neighbors' concerns, organizes holiday and summer events for neighborhood youth, holds monthly clean-up days and hosts an annual Step-A-Thon which draws runners from all over the world--and raises money for community programs.
